No. But, I recently read that 80% of the people in Alabama (presumbably those that are insured) are insured through BC/BS Alabama. Further, they do quite a bit of dictating to Drs. and hospitals what they will and will not do. So that doesn't strike me as a particularly good situation.

But, I don't know where you are going with government controlled health care -- the public option is dead.

And I don't see anything in a bill that is going to control health care costs in the future. My health care went up $23. per month and my per office visit copay went from $20 to $30. And a lot of pressure is being brought to bear on Drs. and patients to switch to generics drugs.
