If Yankee had been sending a letter rather than a package how much would he have had to pay UPS or Fed Ex to deliver it? Certainly a lot more than 44 cents. I cuss the PO as much as anybody but admit it is a fine feat to get a letter from Key West to Nome in 3 or 4 days for 44 cents.
