Well, 2009 is slowing to end today. I, as many of you have mixed emotions on this years political accomplishments, as well as the state of our economy and our great nation. However important, that is not the intended message of this post. I wanted to take a moment of your time, and express my honest, sincere thoughts to each and every one that reads this message. As I have told many of you face to face that visit me at Cathouse Marine, I'll say it again. "You have traveled out of your way, and you have passed many good marine repair facilities to visit me". "For that I thank you, and I appreciate your trust and confidence". Especially this year, Lake Martin forum members have came in great numbers and traveled many miles to do business with us. From Louisianna to Georgia, you know who you are. I am greatful to all of you that unknowingly come and help make my dream come true. It is my desire to extend to you, the best possible service, an honest experience, all in a friendly atmosphere! While were at this, lets be friends. Lets cook out, visit and enjoy each other as people. I want you, to want to come to Cathouse. I want you to look forward to getting your thankyou letter. Lets do every repair right, and take care of the little stuff along the way. That is our work ethic that I preach EVERY evening. EVERY morning starts the exact same way too. I speak my piece in person, by phone or email every morning. If I can help you on the phone or on the forum great! If I can't please bring it to me! That is all I've ever ask, and you have done just that! Thank you. For those that don't know, Cathouse is a small 3,200 sq.ft air conditioned shop, out in the country at my home. (Yep, it's got a bar with flat screens everywhere, and a ho's hangout lol ) It draws business from internet, advertising and word of mouth only. We do everything from small fishing boats, to super horsepower offshore 40' speed boats. It's a really cool place to visit in the Spring. And, each boat is as important as the other. Enough of all that----- 2009 was a tough year with the economy what it is! I worried myself sick all year. I'll go out on a limb here, and say because of the huge increase in the Lakes Online customers, we made it through 2009. Had it not been for you loyal people, our 2009 outcome would not be bright at all. I thank the good lord for providing me the foundation and godly spirit to operate a respectful, honest organization. I thank my employess (especially Dee Dee) for there great efforts in keeping my expectations and standards high, and most important, I thank you the customers for your loyalty, trust and friendship. You have made Cathouse Marine what we are today. THANK YOU MY FRIENDS. May 2010 be the beginning of our economic recovery! I'll be here for you when you need me. I am proud to be afforded the oportunity to have a small business, and to serve you great Americans. (I don't have any Mexican customers, maybe they don't fish).
