I don't know about Rush being a humanitarian; however, what you said about Haiti is correct. I would not want to see the US engage in some massive "nation building" exercise; but I do think that as humans, we should be concerned about rescue and medical care, food and temporary shelter for the human being affected by the earthquake. The US cannot "fix" Haiti.
