But ONLY with your statement the Coakley still wins. I think (hope beyond hope) that Brown wins. Apparently some high ranking dems are all but writing it off at this point. Even her internal polls are showing her loosing by as much as five points.

Here is my prediction. Brown sqeaks out a victory, but not by a large enough margin to prevent the desparite dems from filing a contest to the election. Then the post election politics plays out in the dems favor, it is after all Taxachsetts, contorlled by dems for a century or more. Then the 'playing' of the system begins in order to keep it tied up so that the dems can refuse to seat him, 'till the courts have settled the matter'. They can't just slow play it now that that cat is out of the bag, but there is 'precedent' for not seating a winner as long as it is in court battles. Remember the Stuart Smalley debacle in MN.
