The AP is reporting that President Obama, in his state of the union address, will state that Toyota Motor Company is responsible for the failure of the American economy to accelerate at an acceptable level. The foreign owned company, which produces automobiles at non-union plants in the United States, has cornered the market on acceleration technology, giving it an unfair trade advantage. It is expected that the President will propose an acceleration tax be levied on the company in response to this issue.

In a challenge to his position, it was pointed out that the laws of physics make it impossible for one company to corner the market on acceleration technology. A white house spokesman responded, “we have a majority, we will simply change that law.”
