Part of what "Ails" the citizenry is the sense of "Entitlement". We all see it every day: Getting cut off, then flipped off in traffic/ getting pushed aside in the grocery line/ Waiting 15 minutes to speak to a customer service person who speaks English/ etc. 8 year-olds with cellphones. Welfare recipients driving an SUV. WIX coupons used to pay for strip steaks, baby formula, premium bread,,,,, and cash to pay for the beer and cigarettes.
And, it is not a racial issue. The attitude applies to illegal immigrants as well as many of some of our "affluent" neighbors and their children. We see it/post about it often on this Forum.
Complex problem. But, the first step I will take is the Voter's Booth in November 2010. DUMP THEM!!
