We are about 40,000 strong, and our motto is DELIGHT THE CUSTOMER. That is what we are all about and our US company (the international segment we can't control and in fact are not allowed to talk to) is all about giving value in return for our Government customer dollar. Maybe that is why we have grown exponentially.

So don't paint all companies with the same brush, because if you do you are being naive. Yes, I am one of those retired military guys, and yes, I am still serving my country although not on active duty -- I just have to decide what to wear to work every day. I know where the dollars in my paycheck come from -- the American taxpayer - and I try my level best to give the taxpayer his or her due. I could probably name the companies you refer to, because indeed I share your opinion that some of them are corrupt, unethical, and downright evil. But the Government keeps coming back to them. Why? Because the Government workers are too incompetent, inept, or lazy to stand up to them. They take a mid-level person and slap the "Program Manager" moniker on them and turn them over to the wolves. I have seen it with my own two eyes, and in fact have worked extra hard in one case to right a wrong perpetrated by one of our competitors.

By the way, Hound, who paid your salary all those years? I'll tell you in case you can't come up with it on your own. It wasn't the government. It was I , as well as MartiniMan, Lifer, Barneget, Mack, Lakngulf, and just about everyone else on this forum.
