I posted the attached link on the maintenance forum, but thought it may be of help here too. This is a very comprehensive site when it comes to education on the pitfalls of ethanol laced fuel. The site covers state labeling laws, common problems, marine use issues, and more. They do have a product to sell (test kits), but the information they present is factual....you can't fake the chemistry behind the problem for marine use. After much study over the last few years, I now use ethanol free fuel in all of my engines whenever possible....it's usually better for the engine (never worse) and fuel economy is better (ethanol blends contain less energy).
