The GS issue is not something that an investor would be aware of when they signed the form. GS created and sold collateralized debt obligations tied to subprime mortgages in 2007 without disclosing that hedge fund Paulson & Co. helped pick underlying securities and bet against the vehicles. Your GS stock dropped 13% today as a result.
