If you didn't fish this week you missed a good one. I had six guide trips over the last 8 days, and we pretty much limited out each trip. Most stripes were in the 7-10 lb range caught on downlined shad in 25-35 feet of water. We planer boarded in creeks with big shad on a couple of trips and had several blowups, but only got a 13 and a 16.5 for our efforts. Even put a limit on board this morning before the lightning ran us off the lake. Wednesday morning I had three guys on board, and we caught our 8 fish limit in 30 minutes. I hope the good fishing continues, but it's bound to slow down sometime soon. Get out there if you can!
