now I'm more paranoid than ever, lol

The lift I have is an Air-Dock, have read some user reviews on it and use of it. Need to read up on the manufacturer instructions and get using it.

While up on the air-dock (or not) how loose or tight should the tie-offs be to the dock?

This is my first time owning a dock, have always driven up on the trailer that the marina brought to me on the ramp, lol.

I've got it tied up to 3 cleats right now, to the left from middle of the boat, diagonally to the front right from middle next to driver on boat and to back right from back right on boat.

I left a little play in in all three. The boat is in a roof covered middle slip on the dock in a no-wake cove. Some wake still gets in but overall not much.

I have always turned off the battery shut-off when done with the boat, should I leave it on and turn the bilge pumps to "auto"?

Starting to have bad thoughts/dreams about the situation, as a first time dock owner I thought it would all be perfect...
