I heard the one about the senior's center and the prayer. According to the article I read, SOME OFFICIAL of the company that runs the center said that they could not pray out loud because of federal funding of the program, but they could pray silently.

There is no indication of any government official inisting that they not pray; therefore it led me to wonder if it was not the OFFICIAL that was offended by the prayer and had nothing to do with federal funding. Or maybe someone in the group complained and asked not to be singled out. I have a feeling federal funding was just the excuse given and there is really something else at play.
