I'm not making an excuse for this particular incident. It obviously falls outside of any acceptable standard.
The lake area has a unique and challenging set of circumstances. First off, we are not anything near year round, yet in our prime season we are very full of people living or visiting the area. That means no restaurant has but a small percentage of year round service or cooking staff. Also means less trained management. Oskars has advantages in that it does have much more year round support than the others as well as the 4 owners spending considerable time at the restaurant. Even there, they go thru a number of employees may and june till they get a good staff put together.
