If you are going to blame Obama, then you might as well blame GWB for not enacting legislation to make the oil companies tow the line. But, what is the point of blame at this juncture? That's purely political and I would submit to you that what is going on in the Gulf transends politics.

This is the problem with country right now -- every one wants to afix blame, no one is standing up saying "I'm going to solve the problem". Where are the conservative solutions to this problem? I'd stand up and cheer if just one Conservative said "I know how to fix it and I'm going to do everything I can to do so, even if it costs me the next election." Instead they yammer on just like the Democrats. I'm so fed up with politicians I could SCREAM.
