What an enchanting little creature.

I read a book once about a woman who had one live in her sunroom for the winter. He didn't migrate with the others and she got concerned that he would freeze to death. So she took him in.

I have noticed that the ones that feed on my porch are not particularly afraid of us. One day I was on the porch swing and had one hover right in front of my face (about a foot from my face).
We've had tons of them at our feeders for the past two years, but for some reason this year we've only had a few.
