I was watching one of the news shows the other morning and they had a segment on a Korean War veteran that was revisiting Korea for the first time.

One of the things he said -- when Viet Nam veterans complain aobut the way they were treated when they retired, he says "if they spit on you and cursed you, at least they knew where you were. When Korean War veterans returned, people said "where have you been?"

For a long time, there was no Korean War Memorial. They finally managed to get one.
