A guy was ridding around near his house on his pwc. As he was heading home, he happened to look over into the back of a cove and noticed that at the waters edge sat a Sea-Do getting beat-up in the waves on the rocks. Him being a good Samaritan, he got off his pwc in waist deep water and waded over an pulled the other pwc off the rocks. He then towed it to the house of friend that was closer to the cove than his own home. They then secured it to the friend's floating dock.
Upon arriving home he called the Marine Police and gave them all the info.for the Sea-Do. About a week later with no contact from either the owner or the M.P. The friend inquired at the local marina and was told someone did report a Sea-Do missing. As it turns out it did belong to this person and he was very happy that it was found and taken good care of. He was very thankful to the friend.
But... He has never acknowledged or thanked the guy who pulled it off the rocks.
The same good Samaritan was out ridding his pwc today and noticed that the owner of the Sea-Do's floating dock has broken one of the chains where it attaches to the smitty pole so it is now pivoting on just one pole. By the way this person's home is across the street from the rescuer.
What is the Guy to do?
