We have a weekend place just west of you in the Indian Shores area and we get good coverage with Verizon. The signal improved about a year and a half ago when a new tower was added in the Walnut Hill area. We can drive into Auburn with just a small dead zone around the Girl's Ranch.

Verizon is the only telecommunications company that I can say anything good about. I have been a customer for about 15 years and have had several experiences where they exceeded my expectations by taking care of a problem with a dead phone or other issues quickly and professionally and at no additional cost.

I also agree with the previous post about updating your roaming software by dialing *228 periodically.

I travel most of Alabama and Georgia and get good coverage almost everywhere I go. With Verizon's good service, I don't think you can go wrong.
