I actually saw the demographic makeup of the tea party and it is a MAJORITY white organization. In fact, I seem to recall that the largest segment was white men over 45 earning over $100K. I'm trying to remember where I read the demographics. I remember thinking it didn't surprise me.

Of course there are going to be some minority members of the group. They are just not the majority of the membership. It's not a racist group, it's basically a polital action group.

I'll not argue the point about some of the black organizations. There are some very radical black organizations out there -- just as there are some very extreme white groups out there. I don't think the Black Panthers are welcoming white members any more than the various Arian groups are welcoming black or hispanic members.

I think you overestimate the amount of time I watch MSNBC. I generally only watch Morning Joe and sometimes I watch the evening news with Brian Williams. I happen to like Brian Williams.. a fellow New Jersian.
