I have said several times that a new provision in the "health care" bill is a precursor to a national VAT. That provision would require anyone buying $600 worth of anything from anyone to file a 1099.

Congressman Bright, a Blue Dog Democrat, introduced legislation to correct that travesty. Good on him.
