No, not sure where the problem lies...engine or tach. I would guess tach is a more likely culprit. I'm try pulling the unit and checking the setting on the back. I don't have an old tach laying around, so don't have one to swap out, nor do I have a diagnostic tool. It'll be next weekend before I can get to it and see if the selector on the back is somehow out of line. Thanks.
