I agree with Cobra, we all have our gripes and a forum and email can be misunderstood at times.

Midage your matter of fact comments just rubs people the wrong way sometimes when people have a need to vent against the only villan that is obvious at the moment and its APCO not you.

 A few years back we joined the LMLPA and went to a few meetings. While I do think with the right leadership this could be a valuable orginazation what I saw was people that have lived on the lake for MANY more years than I have and their gripes were more toward the modernization of the lake and the "younger crowd" that had seemed to inhabit the lake now with seadoos and power boats. They seemed to have a relationship with APCO but it was more of an informational relationship than the business relationship that there needs to be. 

I am not sure a new orginazation would be the way to go but instead we become active in the current LMLPA and try and accomplish something or at least get some of the answers we constantly question. 

I dropped my membership last year but would be willing to join back if there is a need for my voice or vote.
