This Congress has failed to meet the Constitutional requirement of preparing a budget. Assume that amendment was in place right now. Would the results be any different? There is no leadership. People can refer to Pelosi and Reid as leaders, but, they have yet to put anything on the table that doesn't have a "huggy and rubby" for everyone. That is nothing more than political expediency. No budget because hard decisions must be made. They are all out of huggy's and rubby's, and Bernanke told them the well is dry. And economists have warned them of the horrors asscoiated with any tax increase during dead economic times.
