Hey all, waterfront home sales were not as good as they were in August 2009 by about 10%. I am trying to decide what this means for the trend for the year. I think we still need more info on 2010, there are a lot of home sales listed as "pending" in the MLS. This means that they are trying to get closed, go through contingencies, etc. It is possible that we could have a really good September that would put us way ahead of 2009. We will see, I guess, in mid Oct when Sept #s become a little more concrete.

Lot sales were surprisingly good in August. Since waterfront home sales picked up starting in July of 2008, it's interesting to see that lot sales picked up 2 years later.
