WEEK 12: I really didn't think it was an easy week (as evidenced by where I finished) but obviously many others did! SMITTY, DAUBER, TALISI, P.C., and
LAKEGAL all hit 14 out of 17 for an unbelievable 82.4% and, for good measure,
SMITTY promptly nailed the tiebreaker score dead-center at 72 total. MUDDAUBER
made a valiant effort to take it all by hitting 9 in a row before losing the
last game and dropping down into the 5 at the top but still finished with the
2nd best tiebreaker score. Not to be overlooked in this are AJ'S DAD and TWC
who hit 13 out of 17. As it usually happens, I am confused. It is the spread points that are supposed to be the great equalizer--theoretically making each game
a toss-up....five players at 82%?? Give me a break! Oh well, guess we're just
that good! Now in the overall, SMITTY hangs on to his lead with 137 followed by
MUDDAUBER with 134, DUPONT and PC with 132. Dropping the worst week shows the
same four at the top with the order of DAUBER and DUPONT reversed but again only 7
points separating 9 players. Congratulations again for an incredible week of
picks and on to week 13.
