So how did you like Poogan's Porch? We ate there once and it was fairly good, but other reviews havn't been too stellar.

And if you are in the mood for seafood downtown go to Hanks - pretty good and if you sit at the "community table" you'll get to have conversations with three or four sets of other patrons. We really enjoyed that.

And if you want to have good seafood served on paper plates on an old concrete pad (obviously poured at different times), and under a tin roof - go to The Wreck of The Richard and Charlene in Shem Creek...use a GPS or you'll never find it.

As long as you have $$ (and in some cases a sense of adventure) you'll never lack for a good meal in Charleston.
