Look at the pictures to get an idea of what you find in many parts of Camden. Rather than starve you will see gangs roaming the suburbs seeking sustance. No one will starve if there is food available in the likes of Cherry Hill. These are not Auburn students with a high school degree. These are kids with pants down to their crac and teenage girls with kids who all have different daddies. Not surprising, they were born of teenage moms with no education. We can pontificate that they must accept responsibility. But, they have no understanding of the word. How many single moms in Camden attend back to school night? How many are capable of assisting their child with homework when they are dropouts thenselves and unable to read and add? Do you really expect the kid with the pants in his crack to wear a rubber and practice safe sex? Grandma will raise the kid.

Campbell Soup continues to have their home office in Camden. Actually, some areas have a population that take pride in their neighborhood. This is an interesting article that provides a great descripton of Camden as it exists today.
