A fellow is in bed late on a Saturday morning enjoying that state of being not quite asleep but not quite awake. Of course he is forced into reality by the ringing doorbell. He arises, puts on his robe and slippers, quickly straightens his hair, swallows some Listerine and goes mumbling angrily to see who is interupting his morning. He looks through the peep hole. Nothing there. He grabs the knob and throws open the door. Nobody there. He hears a voice "down here". Looking down he sees a snail. The snail asks "Would you be interested in subscribing to a magazine". The man is in disbelief, "No, I don't want your magazine!" He uses his foot to flick the snail half way across the front-yard and he returns to bed.
Two months later, same situation. Trying to sleep-in on Saturday morning. Doorbell rings. Get up, put on robe and slippers, hair, Listerine, go to the door. Door opens and nobody there. He hears the voice "down here". As he looks down the snails says "OK axxhole, just what the he// was that all about?"
