I've heard 2011 long range forecast is predicting a hot and dry summer and the corp is going to allow the lake level to start increasing earlier than normal.

On January 21, 2011, the Corps of Engineers approved an elevation variance for Weiss to store water up to elevation 561 msl. Lake elevations are always subject to change, depending on conditions.
