This thread is more than amusing to read. Where do the homeowners think their property boundry lines stop? The lake is for EVERYONE'S enjoyment, not just yours because you have bought the property and built a pier or dock. That space that your dock or pier is on is not your property. I am willing to bet you also complain when the lake floods and bring debris up in your yards. I am also willing to bet the same people complain about the water level when it is low. All part of the entitlement that the homeowners think is theirs when they buy property on the water.
I bet these same people would complain if they owned beach front property and people fished or walked in front of their beach homes. Get a life people, it's not your water your pier and docks are in. And for those who complain when a fisherman come's on the dock to retreve a lure, would you complain if a kid kicked a ball into your yard and came to get it? Or would you be an A** and keep it? I think it's the same difference.

As for me, I have lived on Logan Martin Lake full time for 8 years. No I don't like when the water is low and I like it less when the lake floods. I don't like it when trash washes up on the shoreline and I have to pick it up (everyone that has taken a boat ride on the lake at sometime has had trash fly out of their boat by accident). I played on the lake for 30 years before I could afford to buy property and build our dream home and retire here. Now that we live here, I for one take the good with the bad and love every minute of it.
