Just your opinions. The stimulus was already in play by the time Obama took office.
Your Republicans on the Hill are just proving that they are a lot of hot air, and can't get anything done. Just like usual, they are whining about the Democrats. I think they are glad the Dems are blocking their cuts -- that way, they don't have to face the heat from their base when these things don't work, and they can continue to play to their base about the Dems "not letting them". They can't even get agreement within their own party, so they can't reasonably compromise with the Democrats.

But then, they did get rid of that nasty liberal mouthpiece, NPR, and is going to save the government a whole $2M.... Now that's funny.

They don't have a decent candidate to run against Obama in 2012, that has a chance of a snowball in a hot place of winning.
