I visited Oakview Farms in Wetumpka this AM to buy some wheat etc. He also raises bees, 50 colonies, and sells his own honey.

He said they meet once a month, I think at the Coliseum in Montgomery. Like 80 people attend. You can call him at 334-567-9221.

He also has honey extractors and he will extract honey for you if you have your own hives. This sounded pretty good to me since it will alleviate a lot of the up front cost relating to the extraction step.
