LOL, I went to Jersey Mike's subs in Auburn one day. I knew I was in trouble when they asked me if I wanted mayo on my sub.... and the bread wasn't quite right. They actually have Jersey Mike's subs in NJ (in fact, the chain started back in my old area). Like everything else independent sub shops have been going away.

I'm always wondering why this stuff just can't translate. It isn't that hard to make a real Philly cheesesteak. Or even to make an authentic sub.

We just may have to import some Italians to Alabama.
