Do you have the bracket of the pontoon? My bracket was not that big and the shape of the Lowrance transponder required it be centered on the piece of poly. The beauty of using the poly bolting the poly to the bracket is you can always move the transponder without new holes in the bracket.

I would suggest you go to a marina where they have pontoons stored inside and you can walk around and look at them on the rack to get an idea where the transponders are located.

The bracket was part of the pontoon and was on the low point of the pontoon. Look at the scum mark on the pontoon and you will see that the bracket is always under water.

Another option is to call a dealer who handles the brand or call the factory and ask to speak to technical services.
