were fed up with Bush and the direction the country was headed. They were upset with the housing mess, and were feeling war weary. They voted for Obama because they thought he would lead the country in a different direction. He has, but it's still not the way people think it should be going. Now most of the people that voted for him are unhappy with him, for good reason. I and others wanted transformation. So now I and others are just hoping for transition to something better.
My problem right now is that I don't see anyone on the horizon that I think will be a stronger leader and be disciplined and focused enough to lead us out of this downward slide. We may look back on this time at some point in the future and realize that we were living in the last days of the America we all grew up in.
