We heard all this during the Jimmy Carter year's and no one predicted that Ronald Reagan would be, well, Ronald Reagan. Don't give up yet Hound, despite the assault on American exceptionalism we have survived and if we complete the change of course in 2012 we will look back at the Messiah years as a failed experiment in hope outstripping reality.

I am actually of the opinion that I could list 50 Republicans and probably 10 Dems that would be better than Obama in terms of leadership and understanding what this country needs at this important moment in time....and no, the Donald is not one of the 50.
