Caught a tree service dumping limbs and brush into the woods today on Pine Tree off Hilltop. We stopped the car and asked them what they were doing, and told them to stop immediately. Got some lip from them, but we sat there and they moved on.
Know friends of the people they were doing tree work for, so I called them and let them know.
I suspect we will see more of this, as random freelancers decide to take advantage of the situation. I plan to call the county on Monday and let them know that this is occurring and passing on the name of the company. Realize this isn't the biggest problem many people are facing right now, but if you see someone dumping, speak up.
