This is general information only and certainly not intended for specific cases. Many help organizations encourage patience for those wanting to help victoms of the storms. Property owners need to deal with insurance coverage before recovery efforts can begin in most cases. We wouldn't want to try to assist someone and cause a problem with insurance coverage. There will be plenty of time to help. Many questions need to be answered, such as.. Who is responsible for cleaning house debris, etc from the lake--many sloughs are clogged with debris. If that debris isn't removed soon it will begin being moved about the lake by winds and the current toward the dam. This summer could prove to be a mess. To help contact the "help agencies", or certainly an affected neighbor that may need help.
