It missed us about half a mile, but we never heard anything, had no wind, just spooky stillness. Have friends that were missed a couple of hundred feet--different story--heard the "freight train" up close and loud. Many very fortunate people--not only on the lake, but all over Alabama.

BTW, if anyone needs volunteer help stop by the Paces Point Vol Fire Dept. Many out of town groups want to help clean up. Don't consider this charity, people want to help, accept it graciously. That includes part-timers.
