Roger on all counts.

Latest is the cat's signs are good; spending the night at the animal emergency hospital just in case, but latest word is she is doing OK. Will pick her up between 7 and 7:30 in the AM.

Big dogs were not trying to kill her; if they were, I'd be digging right now. She was just a toy to them, but they play like big dogs do and dang near sent me to the shovel. Will certainly send me closer to the poor house once the vet bills come in.

Thanks for the sentiment. At times like this politics seem so insignificant....

PS: The cat's name is Stormy. After Hurricane Opal some friends went to check on their beach house which was ruined. Heard some noise from the next door (ruined) house, broke into the soffit, and found this days-old kitten, the only survivor of the brood. They brought it back to Montgomery but the lady was allergic to cats so they brought it to our house so we could find it a good home. Opal was 1995? Thus the name Stormy...we are still looking for a good home for her....:>)
