I don't share your high opinion about Spring House. Have eaten there 5-6 times and I find it pretentious. I've eaten in 4-5 star restaurants all over the world and none were nearly as pretentious. Last time I ate there was lunch. The quiche was more like scrambled eggs in a crust. The only thing I've ever loved their was a smoke Quail appetizer.
I'd drive to Montgomery and go to Garrett's before I'd go to Spring House again.
