I can't speak for Com Link or the recent issue of storms. But I had a similar experience with Charter a few years ago. Buried deep in the fine print of your contract, you'll find a damage clause that says you will still pay for a full month, even if you didn't receive a full months service because of situations such as this. In my case, they were at least very nice and took the time to email me a copy of the contract I had signed. But in the end, I still paid for the whole month. Stinks, I know.
