That little island folks have been hanging out at. About halfway between Lakeside and Powells. I think some have been calling it Pleasure Island. I really don't know the whole story. First time I have stopped there. But there's a nice beach on the upstream side. The island blocks most of the wakes from the passing boats and it's a nice sandy bottom for swimming and just lounging. We stayed a couple of hours and we'll go back. Beats burning gas like crazy.

Theres a nice hammock, some cool chairs, tiki torches and a treasure chest full of beads, frisbies and footballs. One of the guys I was talking to said the owners wife bought it for him as an anniversary gift. They have just fixed it up with palm trees and such and welcome people to stop by.
