Subject:   I did my first Honey Bee Extraction from a tree.

Yes, about every 20 minutes I smoked them a little.. Cut about 6 inches wide out of the tree at at time till I found them. Then worked around them smoking when needed.. Once I exposed the entire hive (about 1 ft wide and 2 1/2 ft long I started squirting them with sugar water. Then I removed the broad comb and honey comb. I put the broad into a hive right then and relocated it.

   Took a jar of the honey to coffee this morning with comb in it. I am headed down to check the bees this morning. I have 2 more frames to install and add a inner cover...

   I have 3 more captures already lined up. I love bottling the honey and putting my lable on them.
