Despite having spent over $30 million the unions lose again, thank the good Lord above! This week's attempted recall of six Republicans fell one short of what they needed to regain control of the state Senate. What is even better is next week there will be recall votes of two Democrat Senators. Regardless of the outcome of those votes the real winners are the state of Wisconsin citizens that beat back tens of millions of dollars of national union money trying to intimidate Republicans out of doing the right thing if it means union employees actually have to pay a little more for their health insurance like the rest of us poor saps.

And this is in WIsconsin, not exactly a blue state. So we have the passage of Gov. Walker's bill, the reelection of David Prosser to the state Supreme Court and now this. It is indeed a good day for freedom and fiscal sanity. Lets hope the unions piss away some more of their undeserved cash to try and recall Walker next year. By then the results of his administration's policies will have provided results and the people of Wisconsin will tell the union thugs to shove it once again.
