Now Hound, you know this stuff is significantly different than some of the silly regulations. My view is that the government's proper role is make sure a workplace is safe and that's it. If a company wants to provide crappy living quarters and that is important to you then go somewhere else to work. No one is stopping you.

This is nanny state nonsense that just costs businesses unnecessary money and eliminates jobs. There are plenty of people that could care less about having a clean mattress if they have a good job.
