I, too, would not have a place on LM if it looked like Lake of the Ozarks, or Lanier for that matter. Overcrowding from boats/people or pollution result from the density of development along the shoreline. That has not happened, yet, but it could.
And a yearly one or two day event for boat racing enthusiasts has absolutely nothing to do with it. Those who choose not to watch or participate could simply not attend.
If we are so concerned with noise, danger, too many boats,,,, maybe we should consider abolishing the 4th of July fireworks??
