I was reading a bit about Cain's 9/9/9 plan. Don't know if I can support a 9% national sales tax, but it's an interesting thought. At least he has a specific plan and that's more than others seem to have.

It may be a bit much to conclude that all of his success was due to merit. Saw a lot of pushes for minorities (and women) in years gone by, but a lot of time it is what a person does with their opportunities, not how they happened to have them.

He's an interesting candidate, to be sure.
