I know the flood plane elevation level has been declared as 491 ft. for Coosa County, and it is my assumption it is the same for Tallapossa and Elmore Counties. You will be considered above the flood plane if your home's lowest level is above this elevation for Lake Martin water front.

Even with this said, you will still be required to have a certified survey of your elevation in order to submit a request for a Letter of Map Amendment(LOMA)from FEMA. It is only after you have received a LOMA can you satisfy the question of being outside of the flood plane.
